The 18 day break part 2

For the most part today was a pretty normal day so there is not much to report. My sleep has been pretty good and i slept till about 9 today. My English tutor then came around 10 and we worked for two hours. That went pretty good i got really tired at the end though. Of course then for the rest of the day I watched numerous news stations reporting about the presidential election. I did get a bit of an upset stomach today but besides that there have been no serious issues from the chemo. My appetite has come back for the most part and luckily my hair hasnt fell out yet.

Tomorrow I get to meet my math tutor and do that then hopefully go to my hockey practice. I am really looking forward to hopefully getting on the ice with my team just in my warmups even though i am not fully suited up.

Thanks again so much for your prayers and thoughts!

Tristan! I'm so glad you've got the energy to keep up with a blog but still really, really sad you have to deal with this. Anyway, I thought I might offer some cheer with a top 10 list, kind of along the lines that there's a bright side to everything. Almost.

Ahem, here goes.

10. With all the money you'll save on shampoo, you can take a Caribbean vacation. Also, you need some hats to stay warm. Really fantastic hats. I'd be happy to share mine.
9. All those people who get so whiny and full of self-pity because they have a cold? Yeah, you now have the right to smack them.
8.At least you get to do this with one of the finest medical teams anywhere.
7. Also, I understand Children's Hospital is in the business of giving away balloons. Gotta love that.
6. You get to find out how many people really care about you in a way most people will never experience.
5. Since you're home during the day, you can catch up on all the soap opera plots. Or not.
4. Zorro thinks you're awesome no matter what.
3. This awfulness will be behind you in time for NHL playoffs.
2.Impress friends at parties with your impressive command of medical termonology.
1. Beat this and nothing will ever scare you. Or defeat you.

Get well fast. And, when your appetite is back, you need to make up for all the Halloween candy you didn't eat.

Hey man, I can fix the appetite issue. I make some seious chili (its a biker thing you know) and could send some your way. Just let me know if you want it.
We continue to pray for you, Tristan and your family.
I had surgery in July for a mass, etc., etc. and am still recovering-I have a little idea of your struggle my young brother.
